The company is searching for a Machine Operator who will set up and operate machines, and may use blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

Works with oversized and awkward-sized materials that may require specialized handling.

Work Experience

• 2-3 years of experience with equipment handling and operation

Duties/Responsibilities

• 5S and general upkeep of the work area
• Ability to set up and operate various equipment, including CNC machines, basic and manual drills, electric hand tools (grinders, drills, saws), and other metal processing equipment
• Basic troubleshooting of assigned equipment and competency to perform operator-level maintenance items such as workstation cleaning, gauge reading, and physical inspections
• Read blueprints and general measuring equipment to adhere to drawing tolerances and customer specifications
• Supporting in other areas as deemed needed by the supervisor
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to operate or learn to operate various CNC and machining equipment
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and dimensional verifications
• Willingness to be a positive influence for a safe and clean workplace

Work Environment

• Exposure to noise, vibration, and moving parts
• May work shifts, including nights or weekends
• Must follow strict safety procedures
• Stand for long hours with repetitive tasks
• Work in factories or manufacturing plants
