Job Profile

The company is seeking an Electrician who will support a positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.

Collaborate with a team to maintain and repair various components in the mining, recycling, and asphalt production industries.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
• Independently work through both assigned tasks and recognize needed repair work on all electrical components within your level of experience.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Installing and repairing lighting and power systems
• Knowledge of safety codes and regulations
• Reading blueprints and schematics
• Troubleshooting electrical systems
• Wiring and circuit installation

Work Environment

• Positive, Team-based attitude
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
