The company is looking for a Welder to join its team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required) with Vocational Training or Technical Education (preferred)
Work Experience
- Experience with a handheld plasma cutter (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Layout, align, fit, and weld fabricated steel and aluminum components
- Perform work involving close tolerances that require constant attention while making adjustments to perform properly
- Read and understand blueprints
- Responsible for welding steel and aluminum components to assemble structural forms
- Strong attention to detail regarding alignment, dimensions, and general inspection
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to read blueprints and weld assemblies to comply with the engineering standards
- Ability to regularly move, twist, bend, and crouch while working
- Dependable with a good attendance record
- Knowledge and technique of MIG welding
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must have the ability to read a tape measure
