The company is looking for a Control/Process Operator who will set up and operate machines, utilizing blueprints, make adjustments for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • Make general decisions as to quality, tolerances, and operation sequence
  • Set up and operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) machinery that automatically heats, mills, cuts, forms, drills, broaches, or reams metal, plastic, or processed material parts
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make basic adjustments

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to maintain good attendance
  • Ability to operate CNC/PLC equipment (Whitney-plasma/punch; Kinetic; Oxy-fuel cutting; Plasma cutting; CNC machining center/drills, presses, mills)
  • Ability to proficiently read blueprints and verify dimensional requirements

  • Exposure to heat or noise
  • Industrial or plant setting
  • Shift work, including nights
  • Standing or sitting for long
  • Strict safety procedures
