Job Profile

The company is searching for a Production Operator who will operate various machines involved in the assembly of parts by inspecting and inserting pieces, activating machines, unloading, and inspecting assembled parts.

Education Level

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Apply operator instruction sheets, quality specifications, safety standards for sub-assembly and assembly of parts and components, and inspection of parts as required
  • Assemble components and parts following standardized work
  • Report any damage or quality issues resulting from damage

Work Environment

  • Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment
  • Hearing acuity is needed to understand verbal instructions, respond to emergency signals.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of safety glasses and safety footwear is required.
  • Prolonged exposure to moderate to high levels of noise, laser beams, flashing or blinking lights, machine signals, and other sounds associated with a manufacturing environment.
  • Prolonged periods working on feet performing repetitive actions that require frequent standing, walking, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching or lifting from the floor, waist, overhead, chest, or knee level; may also be required to squat, kneel, push, pull, carry, grasp with hands and fingers; use of hand tools
  • Visual acuity is necessary to read instructions, manipulate parts, tools, machines, and other objects.
