Job Profile

The company is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to use hand tools.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
• Monitor plant operations and assist in routine maintenance to ensure efficient and safe production.
• Perform daily pre-shift on equipment and workplace inspections
• Responsible for preventive maintenance at the plant or heavy equipment, keeping machinery running in good condition, and producing natural aggregate
• The ability to operate one piece of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.)
• Welding knowledge
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned

• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance

Work Environment

• The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• The ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy)
• While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty. Ability to lift 60 lbs.
