The company is looking for a Welder to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent education (additional technical skills a plus)
• Technical training reading Blueprints

Work Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in TIG and MIG welding
• Minimum 1 year of experience reading blueprints

Duties/Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly with team members and customers.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures using welding tools.
• Follow safety rules and quality standards consistently.
• Lift heavy items as part of daily tasks.
• Maintain reliability and punctuality on the job.
• Manufacture metal products per customer or employer specifications.
• Operate and maintain welding machines and related equipment.
• Perform welding tasks based on qualifications, process, and position.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches for project planning.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment for different tasks.
• Use various welding machines to repair and maintain metal equipment.
• Wear appropriate PPE like goggles, helmets, and gloves.
• Work effectively within a team environment.

Work Environment

• Work in this position is in a factory floor environment.
• May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration.
• The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud, and PPE may be required.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to talk or hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
• The employee must be able to lift items up to 50 pounds.
• The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
