Job Profile
The company is searching for a Journeyman Pipefitter who will fit and align pipe that meets ABSA and Enerflex standards.
Must also have experience producing quality work with attention to detail in order to meet and exceed customers’ needs.
Enrolled Pipefitter Apprentices will also be considered.
Educational Qualification
- Possess a valid Alberta Journeyman Pipefitting Certificate with Interprovincial Red Sealed Journeyman Pipefitter Certificate
- Tickets in WHMIS, TDG, and H2S Alive are assets
Work Experience
- Possess 1 to 2 years of directly related work experience
- Experience with butt weld fitting is considered an asset
Duties/Responsibilities
- Cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines.
- Install supports, valves, piping, and control systems.
- Measure, cut, and thread pipe to the required shape using hand and power tools.
- Participating in, accepting, and adopting the safety principles
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout requirements.
- Select the type and size of pipe required.
- Test system for leaks using testing equipment.
- Weld, braze, cement, solder, and thread joints to join pipes and fabricate sections of the piping system.

- Ability to work overtime
- Possess excellent communication, organizational, and people skills
