Job Profile

The company is recruiting an Account Manager to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) with related experience or an equivalent combination of both.

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in outside sales. At least 5 years of directly related industry experience may be considered in lieu of outside sales experience
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial sales
• Customer service or sales experience in the local market
• Some experience in handling compressed gasses is (preferred)
• Welding product knowledge (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Advise customers on tools, hardware, and abrasive products, as well as safety apparel and equipment including goggles, helmets, hearing protection, welding jackets, and more.
• Call on prospective and existing customers to build relationships, increase sales, and work with Airgas product specialists and branches to bring value and added resources to improve customers’ profitability.
• Sell welding products as well as industrial and specialty gases.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Proficiency in working with personal computer applications such as Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, and Docs)
