Job Profile
The company is recruiting an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (Tooling) who will design and develop tools and machinery, as well as supportive programs, to optimize the manufacturing process.
Provides expert input to resolve design issues and innovate solutions.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants may be required a High School Diploma
Work Experience
- Possess 3+ years of tool design experience (required)
- 4+ years of experience in related technical areas (required)
- Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes (required)
- Experience and knowledge of welding processes (preferred)
- Experience with computer-aided tool design and computer-aided operation is (preferred)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tooling and fixtures.
- Develop, sustain, and streamline the complete tooling process to support operations and product improvements.
- Oversee the design, fabrication, sourcing, and procurement of, and not limited to, fixtures, jigs, gauges, cutting tools, forming tools, carts, and racks, to support Operations, related to MAC processes.
- Performs feasibility studies on proposed tooling concepts to determine manufacturability, cost, and cycle time impact on the production process.
- Work with shop floor personnel and manufacturing staff to develop new tooling concepts and improvements.
- Oversee the selection of materials, components, and equipment related to tooling.
- Create and manage resource plans.
- Oversee and implement procedures, specifications, and applications for new and existing Tooling, throughout MAC Trailer, Enterprises, Inc., and subsidiaries.
- Oversee and implement related budgets, costs, resource allocation, and material required for tooling.
- Lead improvement activities within areas related to tooling and machinery, including providing technical support to production personnel during the introduction of new or revised tooling into production operations.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to function and facilitate job duties at various subsidiary locations when need is required.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including being physically capable of maneuvering self throughout the work area, product, and equipment.

- Stand and walk long periods of time -Frequent sitting, working at a computer for extended periods of time.
