Job Profile
The company is hiring an Aluminum Mig/Tig Welder to join its team.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Welding Certification from an accredited Technical School
Work Experience
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to adjust parameter settings for different material thicknesses.
- Ability to learn robot welding set-up and operations.
- Assemble finished products from blueprints to the specifications indicated on the blueprints.
- Comply with all of the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies, and procedures of API.
- Maintain tools and equipment provided for the assembly operations.
- Maintain work area in an organized manner.
- Perform work in a safe manner.
- Produce products within tolerance.
- Weld Aluminum Pressure Vessels, Airtight utilizing GMAW Pulse Spray and GTAW welding.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to interpret blueprints and measurements
- Ability to provide examples of both GTAW and GMAW proficiency
- Mechanical aptitude and a functional knowledge of hand tools
