Job Profile

The company is looking for an Aluminum Welding Operator to join its team.

Education Level

• Graduation from a related Trade School or High School Diploma or GED and at least 1-3 years of related experience or combination of education and experience.

Work Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in TIG welding
• Experience with aluminum (required)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assess welds to ensure cleanliness and within designated specifications of customer requirements.
• Collaborate with engine ringing to address issues
• Conduct test to evaluate weld quality
• Ensures compliance with all safety and quality standards. Reports any deviations immediately.
• Operating machines or safely using manual methods to meet production goals.
• Reads and follows all work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Repair robot welds as needed
• Trains other employees as needed

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to measure close tolerances (Metric, Imperial)
• Knowledge and ability to assess metal structures to identify and initiate repair of damaged welds.
• Knowledge and ability to use small tools, operate air/hand told, welders, grinder, and buffing machines.
