Job Profile

The company is looking for an Assembler who will assemble all heater unit product codes and fabricate necessary components as required according to work orders, blueprints, and engineering specifications.

Education Level

Work Experience

  • 1-3 months of related experience or training (required)

License/Certification

  • Certified in the following ASME brazing procedures, BPS-B1, BPS-B2, BPS-B3, BPS-B4, BPS-B5

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Attaches breakers, relays, connectors, bus bars, transformers, and insulators.
  • Discusses errors in diagrams or production order with supervision or engineering to clarify assembly problems.
  • Drills and taps holes in specified locations for mounting control units.
  • Fabricates bussing and solders connections.
  • Hydro test per specification.
  • Installs and wires Thermostats and other options.
  • Lays out a diagram for electrical installations according to wiring specifications.
  • Paints the product as necessary.
  • Tests and adjusts electrical components.

  • Manual dexterity for precise assembly tasks
  • Teamwork and communication skills

Work Environment

  • Frequently required to walk and talk, or hear.
  • Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
  • Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
