Duties/Responsibilities
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastens parts and subassemblies.
- Comply with safety and company policies and use protective equipment as required.
- Follow proper paperwork and documentation procedures.
- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
- Positions, installs, and assembles parts and subassemblies by reading/following work instructions and using templates (as required).
- Seat Assembly main requirements are blueprint reading and the use of hand tools
- Utilizes small hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, torque wrenches, cutters of various types, and other standard wiring and assembly tools.
- Run wires, nothing technical, just following the blueprint and zip tying wires to the seat frame
- Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire, and install a wide variety of components, and selects components to be integrated into subassemblies and assembly units.
