Job Profile
The company is seeking an Assembler who will demonstrate the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, fluid environment while ensuring that operational initiatives are met.
Education Level
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
- 1+ years of mechanical assembly experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Assembles or tests mechanical or electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination
- Completes required documentation related to production
- Drives the continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities
- Enter work hours in the ERP system (Currently SAP)
- Follows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality
- Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g., color code, PVC thermal welding, and thread taping
- Maintains equipment and area in a clean, safe condition
- May assemble minor variations of in-house standard products
- Reads and understands simple layout and assembly drawings
- Receives components or items for assembly or test in a programmed sequence
- Completes all site-specific training regarding safety and quality
- Uses simple hand or power tools along with uncomplicated jigs and fixtures
