Job Profile

The company is hiring an Assembler C who will be responsible for a variety of assembly operations tasks-assembling precision electro-optical semiconductor components, welding, and soldering under levels of optical magnification.

Additionally, be responsible for following standard practices and procedures to involve harness build.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have a High School Diploma and Equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess 4 years of manufacturing assembly experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical or electrical components for customer deliverables
• Assist in guiding peers in completing daily tasks
• Complete assigned solder processes as required (i.e., soldering components, configuring cabling, and configuring wires)
• Crimping cables with a wide range of tools (ex. hand crimping tools).
• Follow industry standards or practices for 6S
• Perform torque training, an inspection of hardware, and mechanical assembly
• Support group objectives for on-time delivery
• Verify the use of the most updated procedures

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to learn to read/follow drawings and work instructions
• Communication – must be an effective communicator
• Familiarity with the use of basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, plyers, wire strippers, etc.
• Possess proficient computer skills. Able to navigate email and Microsoft office.
• The ability to use a microscope for long periods of time.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
• Prolonged standing
