The company is recruiting an Assembler (Value Add) to join its team.

Education Level

Work Experience

  • 3-5 years of related electro-mechanical assembly or repair experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assemble electro-mechanical/pneumatic components as required.
  • Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition to facilitate manufacturing functions.
  • Maintain records and other pertinent data as instructed or required.
  • Prepare finished work for shipment or storage as instructed or required.
  • Pressure test assembled valves, pumps, and other component assemblies.
  • Responsible for product quality and production quantity – work must be inspected to ensure conformity to specifications and quality standards before, during, and after completion.
  • Utilize a variety of handheld tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, crimpers, cutters, power, and other tools as required.
  • Work from drawings, blueprints, sketches, and verbal or written instructions such as work order process sheets.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to perform work accurately, thoroughly, and on time
  • Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings and measuring scales or tape proficiently.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision

Work Environment

  • Finger Dexterity – The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
  • Handling – moving, and lifting (up to 40 lbs.) parts to and from a bench or cart.
  • Handling and Moving Objects – Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things
  • Manual Dexterity – The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • Retrieving or filing documentation from other departments.
  • Sit for prolonged periods at a bench or table to assemble electro-mechanical parts.
