Job Profile
The company (Siemens Mobility) is searching for an Assembly Team Manager to join its team.
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Production Supervisor-related occupation.
Work Experience
- Position requires experience in the following: Technical drawings and welding symbols. Welding technologies, including GMAW and GTAW.
- 3 years of experience working in the railway industry.
- Working with Lean/Sigma processes.
- Working with Health and safety regulations in the rail industry.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Plan production operations, define workflow, and establish priorities and production sequences to meet project and interdepartmental requirements.
- Meet project targets for direct labor hours, schedule, and quality.
- Develop, monitor, and meet department budgets and business plans.
- Establish, monitor, and adjust manpower, applicable equipment planning, and work-order sequencing to meet production demands.
- Facilitate positive communication with the entire team on a regular basis to keep them informed of work status, department performance, process changes, and company policies.
- Develop and maintain appropriate KPIs along with benchmarks and targets that provide a clear indication of department performance, performance trends, and potential problem areas.

- Familiarity with safety regulations and lean manufacturing
- Knowledge of assembly processes and quality standards
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Time management and organizational skills
Work Environment
- Balances hands-on supervision with administrative duties
- Exposed to noise, machinery, and fast-paced environments
- May work shifts, including evenings or weekends
- Stands for long periods and oversees assembly operations
- Works primarily on the factory or production floor
