The company is searching for a Bench Mechanic to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Blending, smoothing, and deburring surfaces.
• Completing required paperwork and digital entries.
• Following work instructions to meet customer requirements.
• Inspecting work on parts to verify conformance with these specifications.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Perform preventive maintenance of equipment (within the scope of the role).
• Performing assembly, disassembly, blast, and cleaning operations on aerospace case parts.
• Preparing parts for welding or machining by blending and deburring parts to written specifications.
• Reading blueprints, drawings, manuals, and specifications to determine work requirements on the part.
• Set up and operate equipment including a selection of appropriate abrasive belts, wheels, or disks for blending and deburring.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions.
• Individuals with auto body experience.
• Individuals with experience working on parts or equipment requiring fine precision and hand manipulation.
• Technical aptitude and desire to learn new skills.
• US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
