Job Profile

The company is looking for a Bridge Welder who will construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of steel using welding equipment with little or no supervision.

Set steel with a crane, erect steel joist, columns, beams, and install angel iron and bridging.

Educational Qualification

Work Experience

  • The candidates should have 2 years of work experience, or a combination of education to meet the essential job functions.
  • Experience with man-lift, scissor lift, and forklifts

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assure that workmanship is of the highest quality
  • Clean and maintain equipment on a daily basis
  • Comply and take responsibility to ensure all company safety requirements and policies are met
  • Experience with man-lift, scissor lift, and forklifts
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that it conforms to the specifications required.
  • Involvement in all aspects of construction, form and strip, rebar and concrete placement, and installation of all other elements.
  • Must have experience with setting steel with a crane, erecting steel joists, installing angel iron, and bridging
  • Read blueprints and communicate with the Field Superintendent to interpret plans for information pertaining to the layout and dimensions of the structure

Physical Demands

  • Climbing, crawling, balancing, pushing
  • Depth perception with the ability to see visual details
  • Frequently moving and carrying items up to 50 -75 pounds of force with and without assistance
  • Manual dexterity; pinching, grasping, grabbing, holding, etc.
  • On feet for extended periods of time, up to 12-hour shifts
  • Standing and walking
  • Stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
  • Walking all types of surfaces outdoors
