The company is searching for a Carbon Structural Welder to join its team.
Education Level
- High School or GED equivalent
Work Experience
- 2+ years of experience with flux-core MIG welding of plate, heavy wall pipe, etc.
- Experience welding stainless steel (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhere to WPS and material prep for structural welding
- Understand devices such as micrometers, calipers, straightedges, and other various measuring tools
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics
- Basic math skills
- General knowledge of ancillary lifting devices (preferred). Overhead crane experiences (a huge plus)
- Mechanically inclined, production-oriented, and safety and quality-conscious
