The company is recruiting a Certified TIG Welder to join its team.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a Welding Certificate from college or technical school
  • Depending on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I) level, intermediate (II) level, or expert (III) level job and pay scale.

Work Experience

  • Possess 2-4 years of related experience or training combined with successful completion of certified test welds.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Grind and clean parts as necessary.
  • Identify problems and initiate corrective action to minimize scrap and downtime.
  • Keep department work areas clean and orderly for efficiency and safety in accordance with 5S
  • Keep records of time, job, and part operation for production reporting.
  • May be assigned painting projects as needed.
  • Participate in planning for new fixtures and jigs.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment (Spot, TIG, MIG, and Solder) to produce parts that meet established standards for quality and quantity.
  • Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications
  • Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly
  • Welds metal parts together using both gas welding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
