Job Profile

The company is looking for a Certified Welder who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all certified related welding for specialized assets (i.e., tank trailers and straight tank trucks which carry US DOT spec tank ratings).

Education Level

Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Work Experience

3+ years of welding/fabricating experience (required)
Experience performing welding and pipefitting with steel (preferred)
Experience with welding stainless steel and mild steel (required)

License/Certification

3G or 4G Welding certification with the ability to weld MIG (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

Ensure the shop area is kept clean, tidy, and free of hazards at all times.
Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting safely at all times.
Log all necessary entries of time and materials into the electronic repair order system.
Perform fabrication, cutting, and welding on heavy equipment;
Performs other welding duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.
Produce a quality product while focusing on the given standards.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

Basic hand tools such as a pressure winch, rafter square, and die grinder (required)
Forklift and heavy equipment experience (preferred)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related software
