Job Profile

The company is hiring a Certified Welder to join its team.

Education Level

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant welding experience in a professional setting
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or construction environment (preferred)

License/Certification

  • Certification as a welder from an accredited program.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, protocols, and guidelines while working in the shop or on-site.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to discuss project progress and any technical difficulties encountered.
  • Conduct inspections on welded products to guarantee structural integrity and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure welds are completed to specified quality standards and regulations.
  • Keep a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal working conditions and longevity.
  • Perform welding operations on various materials, including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and welding diagrams to understand project specifications and requirements.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices related to welding operations.
  • Good physical condition and strength to handle equipment and materials.
  • Proficiency in welding techniques such as Mig, Tig, and Stick welding.

Work Environment

  • Exposed to heat, fumes, and bright arcs
  • May work long hours or in tight spaces
  • Must wear full protective safety gear
  • Requires precision, focus, and physical endurance
  • Work in industrial, construction, or repair settings
