Job Profile

The company is seeking a Certified Welder who will be responsible for fabricating component parts or assembling the finished product according to the customer’s specifications.

Secures and maintains correct component parts and supplies required for the operation.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred but not required)
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Work Experience

• Minimum 6 months of experience assembling components or specialty products is required 1 year of experience or more (preferred)
• May have certification in area of expertise including welding, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Welder responsibilities
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment inspection checklist and reports any problems or concerns
• Completes work area setup
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure compliance with standards
• Ensures work area is safe, clean, and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate
• Fits parts together in the prescribed manner and by quality standards
• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment
• Maintains production records as required
• Operates equipment and tools as required to complete the assembly process
• Participates in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
• Performs duties consistent with established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards
• Prevents and controls waste of raw material
• Provides basic TPM to equipment and completes TPM paperwork when required
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Working knowledge of basic math
