Job Profile
The company is seeking a CNC Machine Operator who will set up an operation of manual and automated equipment, including drills, lathes grinders/finishers, welding, oxy/fuel, forklifts, saws, and paint booths.
Educational Level
- Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.
- Install align and lock dies, punches, blades, or other machine fixtures to ensure the safe operation of the machine.
- Maintain machine and work area cleanly and safely.
- Maneuver large, awkward, or heavy parts manually or with a crane.
- Set up, operate, and tend machines used to process components.
- Work from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks.
- Work safely and wear all required PPE for the duration of the shift.
- Work in other areas or departments as assigned.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment
- Ability to work in a team setting
- Accuracy
- Knowledge of basic machining practices and materials is a plus, as is general mechanical knowledge
- Must be able to consistently stand for an entire shift
- Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the company’s timekeeping policy and all other company policies
- Must be physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components
- Reliability
- Requires average math skills, simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English
