The company (Siemens Industry) is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join its team.

Education Level

  • Not mentioned, a High School Diploma (a plus)

Work Experience

  • Prior experience/knowledge in automatic saws/one stamp die presses

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Access and utilize various documents, with the use of computers, associated with the manufacture of products in assembly for completion of confirmations (e.g., Quality and Safety Documents, Operating Instructions, etc.)
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work area to ensure functioning and safe working conditions, and wear appropriate PPE.
  • Complete confirmation documentation via the SAP data management system or DMM.
  • Read blueprints and spot weld steel and galvanized parts
  • Work directly with or under the direction of a Group Lead or Supervisor.
  • Work in a team.
  • Work with ISO/work standards.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to read blueprints and apply basic shop math, digital literacy, and use of basic mechanical/measuring tools
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language

Work Environment

  • Stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb
  • Work standing for the duration of the shift
  • Reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs., and push/pull/slide heavy material, and make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
