Duties/Responsibilities

• Maintains work area and equipment in a safe, clean, and orderly condition.
• Makes necessary adjustments to machines during operation to ensure high product quality and unit quantity.
• Responsible for maintaining normal tolerances.
• Visually inspects parts and subassemblies from freedom from defects.
• With guidance from a supervisor, operates a limited number of machines such as lathes, certain millers, grinders, and drill presses.
• With supervision, performs tape-controlled machine operations and makes simple adjustments as necessary.
• Works from standard drawings and process sheets as well as written and verbal instructions.
• Performs other related duties as directed.
