Job Profile

The company is searching for a CNC Machinist who will place and secure parts, fixtures, and tools onto machines.

Using the tools of the trade, our machinists are expected to use micrometers, calipers, and other tools and gauges to read, interpret and act on requirements and specifications on blueprints for a variety of parts.

Educational Qualification

• No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Possess a proven Mill and Lathe experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Repairing, maintaining, or monitoring the performance or operation of any equipment, machinery, or manufacturing process, the malfunction or disruption of which could result in injury or property damage
• The extraction, compression, processing, manufacturing, handling, packaging, storage, disposal, treatment, or transport of potentially volatile, flammable, combustible materials, elements, chemicals, or any other highly regulated component.
• The handling, packaging, processing, storage, disposal, or transport of hazardous material
• The operation of a motor vehicle, another vehicle, equipment, machinery, or power tools
• The operation, maintenance, or oversight of critical services and infrastructure including, but not limited to, electric, gas, and water utilities, power generation, or distribution.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving operation or programming problems

Work Environment

• Generally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines, and checking procedures.
• Requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 70 pounds.
• Lifting devices should be used when possible.
• Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without the benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
