- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Work Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in CNC Machining
Duties/Responsibilities
- Analyze specification prints and drawings with precision, gaining a comprehensive understanding of requirements to ensure flawless execution.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production personnel in brainstorming and problem-solving initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Engage effectively with peers, management, and cross-functional teams, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Inspect finished parts meticulously, identifying and rectifying flaws and defects to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Operate equipment proficiently to carry out each step correctly, actively monitoring the production process and swiftly addressing any challenges.
- Program and load CNC machines, and conduct light editing as needed, ensuring optimal efficiency during manufacturing processes.
- Set up equipment for each step of the manufacturing plan, demonstrating technical expertise and attention to detail.
- Utilize various measuring gages such as calipers, micrometers, pin gages, and height gages to ensure precise dimensional and tolerance requirements.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Excellent motor skills, coordination, and dexterity.
- Formal completion of an Apprenticeship Program is highly valued
- Proficient in the use of measuring instruments and the ability to interpret technical information clearly.
- Proven experience in CNC machine shop operations.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with an eye for identifying key details.
