The company is hiring a CNC Operator who will produce machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.

Education Level

• Not Mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• Experience operating overhead crane

Duties/Responsibilities

• Carryout maintenance measures to ensure good condition of machines
• Input control instructions into the machine
• Operate three or more machines with little or no assistance
• Replace old machine tools when worn out with new ones
• Set up computerized machines to perform machine functions on the workpiece
• Take accurate measurements of workpieces and gauges for production
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of blueprints and micrometers
• Good understanding of edits and G-codes
• Good understanding of set-up and operation
• Have basic knowledge of production materials

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand; walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, or carry; reach with hands and arms.
• Regularly required to talk or hear; read and identify numbers.
• Regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic in performing daily tasks.
