Job Profile

The company is seeking for a CNC Operator to join its team.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants may require a High School Diploma
• Certified Production Technician (CPT) Certification (a plus)

Work Experience

• Experience with internal and external grinders, VTL, or other metalworking machines desired.
• Must be able to set up and operate standard manual machine tools such as Milling Machines (vertical and horizontal), engine lathes, and surface grinders.

Duties/Responsibilities

Must be able to operate and set up one or more of the following-

• CNC Grinders, CNC Milling Machines, CNC Lathe, or any other CNC metal-working machine where CNC control knowledge may be directly applied to BELAC machine tools operation.
• Must be able to apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout machining procedures.
• Must be able to measure, mark and scribe dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining.
• Must be able to read and understand blueprints, sketches, and descriptions of parts to be worked on or replaced.
• Must be able to verify dimensions and alignment with measuring instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, and gauge blocks.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum lift floor to waist – 25 pounds
• Minimum lift waist to shoulder level – 25 pounds
• Minimum pull – 40 pounds
