Job Profile

The company is searching for CNC Operator C who will specialize in the manufacturing of precision magnesium and aluminum sand castings.

Report to the Machine Shop Group Leader for daily tasks, while the CNC Engineer performs OTJ training and technical assistance with all modifications.

Educational Level

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)

Work Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience in a production-related environment (preferred)
  • CNC operating experience (preferred)


  • Are responsible for maintaining machine, workplace, and tool cleanliness daily.
  • Expected to meet speed and quality expectations per Group Leader.
  • Monitor and maintain all machining fluid levels (way lube, spindle oil, coolant, etc.)
  • Required to inspect parts and notify leadership if any problem exists
  • Required to locate and mount appropriate fixtures for each job, prepare castings, set up castings in fixtures using written and visual aiding techniques, and run the required operation.


  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
  • Basic mechanical skills (hand tools)
  • Familiar with Microsoft office/General computer skills and knowledge (preferred)
  • Familiarity with basis CNC programming (preferred)
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. with appropriate technique
