Job Profile
The company is seeking a CNC Operator (Grind) who will set up and operate CNC machines and conventional machines according to production specifications to produce parts of exceptional quality.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Passing grade on a job-related test
Work Experience
- Possess work-related experience (a plus)
Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhere to and promote Company health, safety, and environmental policies while performing job duties
- Adhere to and promote the Corporate Code of Ethical Standards
- Maintain and promote “One Chromalloy” Core Values
- Maintain and promote 5S standards in the work area
- Set up and operate CNC machines under the direction of supervisors
- Grind operations
- Blending of surfaces and applying or removing excess material with hand tools or machinery
- Ensure compliance with Quality Control Manual (QCM).
- Inspect and measure parts to ensure specifications are met
- Load and perform simple edits of a program if required
- Maintain department safety and housekeeping standards.
- Must be aware of ISO – Total Customer Satisfaction (TCS) quality requirements.
- Must follow production specifications in regard to the assembly of newly manufactured parts.
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Set up and use various machines, fixtures, and tools. Part modification to specifications.
- Use of tracking systems
- Performing other tasks in the facility as needed
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to use hand-held measuring tools
- Ability to work effectively individually or as part of a team
- Must be able to communicate, read, and write in English
- Must be able to follow oral and written instructions
