Job Profile

The company is recruiting a CNC Operator I who will produce precision parts and modify parts to make or repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Work Experience

• Experience manufacturing cold heading tooling (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
• Machine parts to provide blueprint specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
• Verify conformance of machined parts to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to work independently, and as a team.
• Knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
• Reads and understands blueprints.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment requiring the employee to stand and walk for a majority of an 8 to 10-hour day.
• Bend, and lift products, equipment, and tools up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Push or pull the product up to 200 pounds.
• Use hand tools up to 20 pounds over extended periods of time.
