The company is searching for a CNC Operator (Metal Turning) to join its team.

Educational Level

• High School Diploma

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience as a CNC Machine Operator
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure parts are manufactured following quality standards, and target plans and verify correct run quantities
• Filling out production boards with output for the shift as well as assisting in planning afternoon shift production
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices
• Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Optimize the running of parts best to take advantage of the machine’s operating time
• Set up, adjust, and operate CNC machines (TC5000, Laser, Metal Turning, Brake Press, etc.) according to work orders and specifications with minor programming
• Use manual pump trucks, cranes (overhead/jib), and lift devices as required to move material and finished product(s)
• Visually inspect parts after each machine cycle and perform inspections as required

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• The ability to read and interpret blueprints and use calipers, micrometers, go-no-go gauges, etc.
