Job Profile

The company (Waiteco Machine-WCO) searching for a CNC Production Manager who will perform a wide variety of activities related to the support and production of the shop.

Oversees production timing, material handling, and shop employees.

Educational Qualification

• Not mentioned, may require a High School Diploma

Work Experience

• At least 5 years of managerial experience in a machine shop; should be in a job shop environment.
• Programming experience on lathes or mills
• Must be a metrics-driven manager and have experience implementing KPIs

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist in continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained; appropriate safety systems/processes are utilized and ensure compliance with all OSHA and other state/federal safety and environmental-related rules and regulations.
• Ensure applicable documentation, including job travelers, inspection logs, etc. are being utilized.
• Initiate nonconforming material procedures, as necessary.
• Maintain material inventory.
• Manage machine maintenance.
• Operate delivery vehicles and forklifts as required.
• Plan and schedule jobs so the workflow is optimized and consistent.
• Process material through cutting operation.
• Program machines as needed.
• Track time tickets and make corrections as necessary.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Strong understanding of manufacturing prints/processes within a machine shop.
• Ability to maintain ISO compliance.
