Job Profile

The company is searching for a CNC Programmer who will develop programs to control the machining or processing of metal/plastic parts by automatic machine tools, equipment, or systems.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2-year technical degree

Work Experience

  • Possess a minimum 2 years of programming experience
  • Minimum 4 years of setup and operation experience on a variety of CNC machine tools and controls

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints, specifications, printed circuit board pattern films, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
  • Determine the sequence of machine operations, and select the proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into the desired shapes.
  • Writes programs in Mastercam to run on HAAS and CNC Lathe machine’s controller and store the programs on media

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to perform arithmetic, geometric and algebraic calculations
  • Ability to read engineering blueprints
  • Knowledge of different types of metals (Aluminum, Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, etc.)
