Job Profile
The company is seeking a CNC Programmer to join its manufacturing team.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should have a 5-year College or University program Certificate; or 2 to 4 years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- CNC machine certification (a plus)
Work Experience
- Possess 5+ years of Mastercam experience
- Experienced in CNC setup
- Experienced with Onsrud routers
Duties/Responsibilities
- Ability to perform CNC setup on vertical and horizontal mills and lathes when necessary
- Analyze drawings, sketches, and designs to determine the best program and process to manufacture precision parts
- Create job travelers and manufacturing operations from material and hardware to outside process
- Observe the operation of the machine on a trial run to improve program cycle time
- Program vertical and horizontal mills and lathes
- Write setup instructions and tool list to optimize setup time
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Able to use and read basic measuring devices (measuring tape, calipers, etc.)
- Knowledge of design software and manufacturing software, as well as standard office programs.

Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands or arms, and talk or hear
- Frequently required to type, use telephonic devices, and view data on computer screens.

- Occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must regularly lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
- Frequently exposed to office equipment and moving mechanical parts.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, however, certain areas of the work environment may have elevated noise levels and require hearing protection.
