Job Profile

The company is looking for a CNC Swiss Operator who will set up and operate Swisstek Swiss-type turning lathes.

Must be able to edit programming, change tools, make offsets, complete required paperwork, and perform inspections.

Ability to work in conjunction with Process Specialists and Engineering.

Educational Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• 2-5 years of experience as a Swiss Machine operator
• Perform Machine Preventive Maintenance

Duties/Responsibilities

• Compete statistical process control (SPC) for part runs
• Control and adjust machine settings
• Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
• Load tooling and material
• Maintain calibrated gauge logs
• Setup and operate CNC SWISS Machines
• Troubleshoot machine and bar-feeder malfunctions that might occur

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Understanding and interpreting GD&T Code
• Working knowledge of measurement tools and equipment (caliper, micrometer, comparators, etc.)
