Job Profile
The company is searching for a CNC Turning Supervisor who will supervise a team while managing the daily goals.
Monitor compliance with company policies and standards, including safety.
Education Level
- Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
Work Experience
- Minimum 5 years of previous supervisory/management experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Able to set up, operate, and tend machines such as Mori-Seiki, HAAS, and Mazak milling machines to process components.
- Assist in training new hire employees and ongoing education for the team.
- Coordinate with management or employees from other departments.
- Flexible for possible Saturday schedule.
- Help team maintain and keep work area clean and safe.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the department and its employees; including all performance management, time-keeping, and safety procedures.
- Undergo training at our Arlington facility for up to two months before assuming the role.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Able to learn AX (ERP system)
- Average math skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete logs, documents, and reports in English
- Consistent shop floor presence (2/3 of shift)
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent communication skills; able to converse professionally with shop and office employees, supervisors, managers, and executives
- Experience in one or all of the following is preferred: welding; metal fabrication; machining
- Multi-task consistently throughout the shift
- Proficient with MS Office
- Proficient with performance management, including plans of action and evaluations
- Strong focus on safety
- Work with others and be a team player
