Job Profile

The company is seeking (Arcosa Wind Towers) is looking for a Control Process Operator who will set up and operate machines, and may use blueprints, adjust for materials used, verify dimensional requirements, and transfer materials to storage areas.

Work with unconventional materials that require specialized skills.

  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist in the completion of all tasks to meet deadlines
  • Assure the safety of all team members
  • Machine welds
  • Maintain and improve quality
  • Maintain attendance within acceptable standards
  • Make adjustments that adhere to established specifications (i.e., head height, concentricity, etc.)
  • Operate one piece of CNC (Oxy-fuel or Plasma cutting)
  • Operate Plate Roll or other specialty equipment
  • Perform Torch cutting
  • Set up and operate machines to cut, bend, straighten, and form using free-form techniques to meet product specifications
  • Train of new or existing team members
  • Troubleshoot and correct faulty programming
  • Unload and may transfer materials to storage areas using overhead cranes or forklifts
  • Verify dimensional requirements
  • Work with unconventional types of materials
