Job Profile

The company is seeking a Deburr/Finisher Operator who will primarily be deburring and washing machined parts.

Be detail-oriented and knows how to utilize hand/power tools.

Educational Qualification

  • No education level is mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

  • Possess previous experience working in a fabrication environment (preferred)
  • Forklift experience
  • Hand grinder, belt sander, and measuring tape experience

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Repairing, maintaining, or monitoring the performance or operation of any equipment, machinery, or manufacturing process, the malfunction or disruption of which could result in injury or property damage
  • The extraction, compression, processing, manufacturing, handling, packaging, storage, disposal, treatment, or transport of potentially volatile, flammable, combustible materials, elements, chemicals, or any other highly regulated component.
  • The handling, packaging, processing, storage, disposal, or transport of hazardous material
  • The operation of a motor vehicle, other vehicles, equipment, machinery, or power tools
  • The operation, maintenance, or oversight of critical services and infrastructure including, but not limited to, electric, gas, and water utilities, power generation, or distribution.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability to interpret/read blueprints
  • Knowledge of basic shop math

Work Environment

  • Generally, 95% of the normal work shift requires standing, bending, squatting, and climbing while running production, inspecting work and machines, and checking procedures.
  • Requires moving of material and parts weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Lifting devices should be used when possible.
  • Parts must be lifted, pulled, pushed, and held in place, sometimes without the benefit of material handling devices due to limited space and confined areas in and around machines.
