Job Profile

The company is looking for a Design Engineer (Continuous Improvement) to join its team for product engineering needs.

Educational Qualification

  • Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering from a university or college (or equivalent qualification)

Work Experience

  • Possess 1 or more years of product design experience
  • 1 or more years of experience problem solving
  • Experience using 3D CAD software

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Analyze test plans for product verification and validation of design changes with PV&V engineers
  • Engage with cross-functional engineers, manufacturing, supply management, or supplier personnel to align on design solutions
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize workload to meet product performance and delivery requirements
  • Provide design support and troubleshooting for the Mower Conditioner and Windrower Platform production line

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, primarily domestic
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support the production line when needed
  • Proficient communication while working with a team

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with assembly line process and documentation
  • Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Experience with PV&V processes
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with welding process and documentation
