Job Profile

The company is searching for a Die Welder Journeyperson who will be responsible for repairing, remodeling, and maintaining all types of dies/fixtures using various types of materials.

Education Level

  • Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus
  • A US Department of Labor Certificate of Completion in the Die Welder trade
  • At least 18 years of age

Work Experience

  • At least 6 years of related experience as a Die Welder


  • Document and create weld maps when required
  • Drive a hi-lo or operate an overhead crane to transport dies as well as other heavy equipment
  • Fabricate or repair dies for production while performing required welding using MIG, TIG, and ARC welding processes
  • Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures
  • Make in-press repairs of dies/tooling
  • Perform die repair, using mills, lathes, and grinders as well as hand tools
  • Read blueprints to perform die repair/fabrication
  • Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, and micrometers, to repair/fabricate dies


  • Basic computer skills
  • Eligible to work in the United States
