Job Profile

The company is recruiting a Diesel Mechanic who will perform maintenance tasks as well as minor repairs on equipment safely and professionally.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience (a plus)

License/Certification

• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with the pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Demonstrate equipment for customers
• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use
• Perform minor repairs of rental equipment and tools, including checking oil, grease, fluids, and tagging of equipment for rental-ready status
• Report machine condition to Management
• Other duties assigned as needed

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Basic knowledge of construction equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of tools applicable to the position
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills

Work Environment

• Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
• Follows strict safety procedures and wears protective gear
• Frequently exposed to noise, grease, and heavy machinery
• May work in awkward positions or tight spaces
• Often required to lift heavy parts and tools
• Works in repair shops, garages, or outdoor job sites
