The company is searching for a Diesel Mechanic to join its team.

Education Level

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience

• Welding knowledge and experience

License/Certification

• Class A CDL (preferred)

Duties/Responsibilities

• Calibrate pump discharge meters
• Document/record work performed electronically on the computer
• Minor welding and fabricating as required
• Perform cryogenic pump maintenance
• Perform electrical/electronic repairs and installations on tractors and trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as necessary on trailers and tractors
• Perform road repairs when necessary

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Ability to drive a tractor
• Diesel engine troubleshooting and minor repair experience
• Electrical troubleshooting skills on 12-volt DC circuits
• Energetic, highly motivated, and well-organized, self-starter with strong commitment to safety
• Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, kneel, and bend for long periods
• Solid work history
• Strong mechanical background, with above-average computer experience/skills
• Strong team player with the ability to work well with fellow mechanics/drivers/operations personnel
