The company is seeking an Electrician to join its team.

Education Level

• Not mentioned, yet a High School Diploma will be a plus

Work Experience

• 3 years of experience in manufacturing
• Recognized Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician
• Must have PLC experience. Allen Bradley or Siemens

Duties/Responsibilities

• Able to communicate and understand PLC logic for troubleshooting purposes
• Maintain up-to-date records of duties performed
• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot various machinery types as required and scheduled.
• Manipulate or touch up points on Fanuc robots where required
• Perform other reasonable duties as required and assigned.
• Plan for continuous improvements or corrective item work
• Provide continuous guidance to Electrical Apprentices as assigned.
• Report, and record maintenance/repair data/information as required or appropriate.
• Responsible for applicable QEMS policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Run conduit and service for new installations

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Exposure to CNC milling machines (an asset)
• Exposure to hydraulic or mechanical presses (an asset)
• Good communication skills (required)
• Good organizational abilities
• Must be safety orientated
• Network or Panelview training (an asset)
• Orientation, equipment/machinery-specific training as required
• Strong Comprehension of hydraulic and pneumatic functions
• Understanding of electrical code
• Working knowledge of Fanuc robots (an asset)
