The company is searching for an Electrician to join its team.
Education Level
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of work-related experience
Duties/Responsibilities
- Calculate sheave size to achieve desired SPM
- Change electric motors, sheaves, and belts
- Communicate issues to the supervisor
- Install and maintain grounding systems
- Install ESP surface equipment
- Install POC’s
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair control panels
- Keep the Company vehicle serviced, clean, and stocked
- Maintain surge protective devices
- Run conduit and pull wire
- Splice an underground 6-vac cable
- Utilize a hot stick to change line fuses and reset reclosers
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Be available for 24 hrs call
- Blueprint reading
- Circuit design and troubleshooting
- Electrical code knowledge
- Electrical wiring and installation
- Equipment maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of applicable codes concerning the oil and gas industry
