The company is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Inspector to join its team.

Education Level

• Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience
• 2 years Post-Secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience

Work Experience

• Possess work-related experience

Duties/Responsibilities

• Visually inspect in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
• Perform Receiving Inspection, In-process Inspection, and Final Inspection functions
• Use various measuring devices.
• Accept, reject, or rework defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
• Work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions, and checklists.
• May monitor and verify quality following statistical processes or other control procedures.
• Perform line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

• Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift 35 lbs. repetitively.
• Must be able to withstand repetitive contact with water and moisture.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to perform electronic or hybrid inspection of complex electrical assemblies, components, and systems.
• Able to describe nonconformance situations and assist in the cause and resolution.
• Able to review reworked and repaired items for acceptance.
• Able to understand drawings and drawing notes.
• Computer Skills and CAD (preferred)
• Experience with reading blueprints
• Must have reasonably good manual dexterity
